SLUDGE REMOVAL AND USE IN DRY DOCKS
The ORCA can remove oily sludge, scale, rust, mud and other debris from 30 metres down. 28 kilos of bagged sludge is easily lifted using a 30 cm hose. Bagging sludge in the hold means faster and more efficient evacuation.
In dry docks the ORCA using special hoses can remove grit from slip. Using our regular hose it can be used to debris scale, paint chips, mud. One ship yard has idea to gas free the tanks using the tremendous air flow created by thereby increasing circulation in hold.
PORT LAKES RIVER AND BEACH CLEANUP
The ORCA can be easily adapted on a barge to pick up floating garbage using either the 30 cm or 38 cm hose. It can also be loaded on a truck and be used for river or beach cleanup.
